Help us layout the priorities for developing the former 17 acre Forrest Hill Research Farm in the centre of Capital City. How can this opportunity for a clean slate address challenges that Capital City faces around affordable housing, establishing more live/work neighborhoods, reducing dependency on automobiles, and creating a sustainable community. This online engagement initiative will be augmented by a series of 3 community BBQ’s and work with the local libraries to surface ideas and understand support form all Capital City citizens.

We are looking for ideas on how to improve the budgeting program in Capital City. What innovative ways can we make the process more transparent, less reactionary and focused on building a financially stable community?

All citizens of Capital City can agree that education is a foundation to the future success of our City. Giving citizens input into the future of education is at the heart of this open innovation program being sponsored by the Capital City Teacher’s Association and the Dept. of Education. The objective is to surface innovative ideas that will transform the way priorities and budgets are allocated to help develop students for their future.

Sustainable Capital City is an open innovation initiative directed at citizens to help them collaborate to develop the best ideas for making our city both sustainable from an environmental perspective, but also smart about operations going forward to reduce waste and maximize resources.
